TOSCANA I.G.T - CHARDONNAY
The Villa Torrigiani Chardonnay Toscano IGT, from the Monte Mezzano vineyard, is a highly expressive white wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, carefully vinified to enhance the varietal's primary aromas and structure. After temperature-controlled fermentation, it ages for 6 months in French oak barriques and then in stainless steel before being bottled.
The color is intense straw yellow, with golden reflections. The nose expresses a floral and fruity bouquet with hints of orange blossom, grapefruit and a light vanilla. On the palate it is enveloping, soft and well balanced by a lively acidity.
Ideal with fish-based first courses, vegetable risottos, fresh and spiced cheeses, oysters and raw seafood.
