Chianti Riserva DOCG
D.O.C.G.
The Chianti Riserva DOCG Villa Torrigiani is composed of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo, carefully selected to create a red of great complexity. After fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature, the wine ages for 12–14 months in French oak barriques (Allier, Nevers, Vosges), followed by 6–8 months in large barrels and at least 12 months in bottle.
The color is ruby red with garnet reflections. On the nose it releases a refined bouquet with hints of black cherry, berries, violet and vanilla. On the palate it is round, full-bodied, with silky tannins and a long, harmonious and slightly tannic finish.
Ideal when paired with tasty pasta dishes, grilled or roasted meats, game and mature cheeses.
